Security and data protection
This is an informational translation. The Slovak version is the binding one.
Your data and the privacy of your drivers are a priority for us. RUNAGA is built to protect information at every step — from the moment a driver enters it, through storing it safely, to showing it only to the people entitled to see it. Below we explain in plain terms how we approach security.
Encrypted communication
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted to modern standards (HTTPS/TLS). Data in transit is therefore protected against eavesdropping and unauthorised interference.
Strict access control
Access to an account is protected by mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) — a password alone is not enough to sign in. The system also distinguishes roles (carrier, dispatcher, driver) and ensures that every user sees only the data they are entitled to.
Protection of passwords and sensitive data
We never store passwords in readable form — they are protected by strong one-way security that does not allow them to be recovered. Sensitive technical data is furthermore never sent to the app, so it cannot leak.
Protection against misuse
Accounts are protected against repeated unauthorised sign-in attempts and against automated abuse. The system is built to recognise such attempts and block them.
Separation of data between companies
Data is managed so that each company has access only to its own records. No company sees another company's data.
Privacy first: a logbook, not tracking
RUNAGA is an electronic logbook. It records journey data entered by the driver. It does not track the driver's location in real time and does not collect GPS coordinates. We respect drivers' privacy and collect only what is needed to keep the logbook.
Ongoing maintenance and review
We keep the system updated with security patches and check it regularly for vulnerabilities. For us security is not a one-off step but a continuous process.
Audit trail
Sensitive operations — the export of reports, for example — are recorded. This gives an overview of who worked with the data and when, which increases transparency and accountability.
Hardened infrastructure
Our infrastructure runs in an isolated and hardened environment with strict separation of individual components and access based on the principle of least privilege.
